SUBJECT TO WEATHER CONDITIONS – FARM MACHINERY MAY BE OPERATING IN THE FIELDS FROM FRIDAY 19TH JULY 2024 AND AT VARIOUS OTHER TIMES THROUGHOUT AUGUST..!!
As you may already know, the “Annual Cut” of the standing grasses (for Hay) failed to materialise in 2023 due to a couple of reasons, one being the Access & the other being the continual & prolonged bout of wet weather! Therefore, we’ve made the decision to (hopefully) start the cut after the mid-point in July, with the Ted, Hay Baling and finally the Removal being completed before the end of July (fingers crossed!)
This may be followed by the Grazing of Cattle, so – if you decide to venture onto the Land during any of the above processes, we do ask that you stick to the PRoW and if you do have to venture off it – please re-join as soon as possible, watching out for any Cow Poop/Dung etc….
If you happen to see anything iffy going on – I would be most grateful if you would capture/record the event(s) please, and please feel free to pass/forward the details on.
And, don’t forget – although this is Private Land and subject to no Livestock Grazing or Mowing/Baling operation taking place – we are happy to allow you the right to amble, walk, stroll or even jog across the land, all that we respectfully ask is that you stick to the public right of way, and pick-up & take with you any rubbish or waste that either you or any in your party have dropped/discarded along your way through or across the land!
